Acne Natural Cure - Simple And Effective Ways To Stop Acne.

Submitted By: John Wellington

Finding a remedy for your outbreaks of pimples isn’t too hard to do. The trick is getting one that works for your specific type of acne outbreaks and is natural. Don’t get discouraged about it, you can have clear and healthy skin, it will just take a little experimentation and patience. Know about some treatments that have been beneficial as an acne natural cure for stubborn skin problems that you can use at home.

There are several types of treatments for blemishes and using them isn’t all that hard. One treatment for blackheads is a wash of lime and milk. All you have to do is bring the milk to a gentle boil, and then add the juice from one lime, and you can wash your face. Let it cool a little, and if it feels too hot don’t use it.

Another type of acne natural cure is to use an astringent for a deep cleaning of your pores. At your local grocery store buy a leafy mango. Boil it in some water, and then rub it after it cools on your face. If your case of pimples isn’t too severe you can just leave the mango to soak overnight. It’s an acne natural cure that will clean your pores thoroughly.

Something that you probably eat everyday in some form is good for your skin as well. A raw potato is a perfect acne natural cure, especially for whiteheads. The vitamin C gives your skin a healthy glow, and its alkaline gets rid of the bacteria on your face. The potato has an acid in it too that clean dead or dying skin cells on your face, which works as an acne natural cure.

Don’t forget that you can use the papaya fruit on your face, but it needs to be raw. An acne natural cure with these types of applications will help your skin stay healthy by stopping infection from spreading.

Finally, remember that any acne remedy might leave your skin a little dry for moisture at times during treatments. A good way to rehydrate your skin after using an acne natural cure is to use Almond Oil. You’ll need to buy a bag of almonds, and grind up with water approximately 4 to 5 good sized almond nuts. Spread the paste on your face, and don’t scrub. It will smooth the face and add some moisture too. Buttermilk is another way to treat skin for dryness, and so are curds.

If you’ve tried every over the counter medication for it and it’s just not working, than you might want to use an acne natural cure. You can find a treatment solution in an acne natural cure, but take your time, and find out what works for you.

Acne Treatment: Myths Regarding Acne And What Causes Acne?

Submitted By: Joey River

There are several misunderstandings regarding acne. This is the reason people end up taking wrong acne treatment for themselves. Therefore it is necessary that you know the causes of acne so that you can direct acne treatment into correct direction, instead of wasting time on seemingly less effective medications.

Acne treatment for adolescents and teenagers are different from adults. Since the hormonal activity in both the age groups is different. It is better that you take any oral medication as acne treatment only after you consult the dermatologist. Since, a well experienced dermatologist is required in order to prescribe exact medicine for your body type.

Acne treatment should be started early on the moment you know that you have acne. You can start acne treatment by using cleansers and exfoliation. Cleaners will do the work of removing all that oil which is logged on your pores and because of which these are blocked. Where exfoliation will help remove all that oil which could not be removed by cleansers, as well as will keep the skin pores clear for the skin to breathe.

Acne results into formation of blackheads, whiteheads and comedones. Acne is not formed due to dirt, as is the normal belief. It is caused due to over secretion of oil sebum by the sebaceous glands in the hair follicle. The purpose of sebum is to take dead cells and throw it out of the body.

The hormone androgen, one of the most important hormones for healthy functioning of our body causes acne. The hormone when comes into contact with the sebaceous gland produces sebum, but in case of people who get acne, the sebaceous glands are sensitive and produce more sebum, thus creating acne and related skin problems.

So acne treatment in early stages should revolve round keeping the skin cleansed and hydrated. Drinking lot of water is a must, since water cleans your body from the inside, and cleansing skin by mild cleansers and exfoliating it will do the trick.

For most of the people with mild acne this will do the trick. Also exercising will make you sweat and thus will also keep pores clean, these are some on the non-medicinal treatments. Acne treatment through medicinal cream, etc is possible too, you should use those creams which contain benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid in their composition. The function of these creams is to kill bacterial present in the infected areas.

Acne treatment should be only in places where your skin is affected, using creams and medicines in areas other than affected areas will only make the normal skin dryer.

There are different types of medicines available as acne treatment, including medicines prescribed in ayurveda, homeopathic and allopathic. You require investigating properly into each type if you are open to trying something really effective and long lasting.

Therefore, treat acne wisely and be patient, you will get to see the results soon enough. Acne treatment will be effective if you are regular in following instruction, if you are consulting a dermatologist, then it is all the more necessary that you follow instructions thoroughly for best results.

Who Gets Acne - How Is Acne Treated?

by Juliet Cohen

Acne is an old problem that has probably been rampant for centuries. Acne is the term for plugged pores (black and white), buttons, and even deeper lumps. People of all ages get acne. Teenagers are the most commonly affected. Due to the sharp hormonal activity during puberty, acne affects many teenagers. It is estimated that 80% of all people have acne at some time in their lives. Most people aged 12 to 17 years had at least occasionally teeth and about 40% of adolescents have acne enough to require a doctor \ 's attention. In most cases, acne occurs to a person during l aperson early 20.

It can persist into the thirties and forties. Some people develop acne for the first time as adults. Adult acne affects men and women equally, just sometimes at different stages of life. Men are more prone to acne problems during puberty. Women might experience acne during puberty and menopause. During puberty, men are more likely to have severe acne. On the other hand, women suffer from hormonal changes during their period. This accounts for a significant increase in acne. Acne lesions are most common on the face, but they can also occur on the neck, chest, back, shoulders, scalp, and upper arms and legs.

Acne need not be feared as something untreatable. There are certain practices and medications that can help facilitate acne healing process. The best way to prevent post-inflammatory changes caused by acne is to prevent acne lesions from occurring. This is done by understanding the factors that cause acne and using the appropriate treatments for the different acne types. Topical therapy should be based on the severity and type of acne. Topical retinoids, benzoyl peroxide, and azelaic acid are effective treatments for mild acne. Topical retinoids (eg Adapalene) are medicines based on vitamin A, which are rubbed into the skin once or twice a day.

They work by encouraging the outer layer of skin to flake off. Antibiotics and drugs with bacteriostatic properties and anti-inflammatory drugs are effective for the treatment of mild to moderate inflammatory acne. Formulations suitable for alpha-hydroxy acids and beta-hydroxy acid which contain the correct concentrations and pH are also helping the skin 'remodeling process. Oral antibiotics (pills), as tetracycline, can be prescribed for inflammatory acne. Isotretinoin (Roaccutane) is a drug known as an oral retinoid, which also exists in a form of news. Isotretinoin works by drying up oily secretions.

It tends to be prescribed for people with severe forms of acne that have proved resistant to other treatments. Tablets oral contraceptives help women who have acne. A combination of the pill usual hormone ethinyl with cyproterone acetate (eg Dianette) suppresses the activity of the male hormone is often used in women with acne. The chemicals are applied to the skin that cause the outer layer to be removed. And the concentrations of different chemicals are used, depending on a patient' s skin type. Doxycycline is used to treat moderate to severe acne vulgaris. However, the associated photosensitivity may limit its usefulness.
